Did Somebody Say "Mechs" or "PAU" ? And What's the Difference?
With D16 we will be releasing finalized Mechs and PAUs. The difference is simple. Mechs will be entered from a mech pad in a captured Control Point similar to what is found on D15 Earth and Edmund Range maps. PAUs, however, will be formed around the player when called upon by a usable. PAUs can be used only by the highest level of Receptive and certain skill requirements must be met.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas / happy holiday and hope that 2009 will be a good year for everybody.
But let's not forget that Tabula Rasa still has a couple of months' worth of cheerfulness to bring into your lives! Please let us know if you plan to organise ingame events after the holiday so that we can announce it on the official websites and give you a hand whenever possible.

D15 is now live! Here are the Highlights of this deployment:
-A new instance map, "The Empire Sector," is available for players. Access to this special new map is restricted to level 50 players, who must also meet a specific Logos requirement.
-CELLAR Arena: Location has been expanded, with an entrance to the Edmund Range wargame map at the north end.
-The Epic Caves of Donn are now also accessible via the CELLAR.
-Festive Seasonal Holiday Observance Flora and decorations have been distributed to AFS Outposts and Bases.
-Ammo, Mimeomech and firework stacks have been increased.
-Series 3 Rocket Launcher will now drop off certain boss creatures.
-FPS camera mode officially in the game!

PlanetTR has undergone a bit of an update as The Agenda, villains from our RP Event "United/Divided", have taken over and changed the appearance of the site to be more to their liking. Until the last chapter of the story comes to a close the site will maintain it's current appearance. Users wishing to get involved can catch up on the story in this thread. Those wishing to pledge their allegience to The Agenda may do so by picking up the new Agenda Logo Avatar as well as the Agenda Fan iShop item that are now available.
For those that would prefer an abbreviated (okay, it's not abbreviated..it's rather long actually) version of the story so far be sure to follow along after the jump.
It was a spectacular night at FNF as a horde of FnF Veterans took over the CELLAR Arena for another night of boxing, hijinks & shenanigans!
Round One: Dralnu defeated Andriss, Koolaid took out Bethel, Machka beat Kaczmanchoy & Vaeyn overcame Pegasus.
Round Two: Sliversoul defeated Dralnu, Valashar beat Koolaid, Chandler took out Machka & Vaeyn overcame Deadra.
Final Challenge: Being no strange to FNF, this weeks Champion wasted little time proclaiming his intention of taking on the Pride & Trust match. FNF Champion Vaeyn & his partner Deadra took on Valashar & Andriss. Despite a good effort, the challengers just couldn't resist the ferocious call of the Champion and his partner.
The War that happened last Saturday gathered a fair few number of soldiers from across the live servers and here is what a participant had to say about it:
I wanted to give a shout out to *everyone* who was at the Server(s) War today! I know I had a TON of fun. I can't speak for others, but it appeared so did most if not all. Thank you very much to those sticking with TR and being involved with all of us others who are.
HUGE thanks (again) to the PTR PvP Clan Summit for organizing and putting this together for all of us soldiers. The extra effort and time that is put into arranging events is highly appreciated. I really, really hope we can do this (or something like it) at least one more time before the end of February.
Also, thanks to those leading the clans on the various levels. Speaking from my perspective, Malediction (in TS) / Getsmashed (on PTS in game) did a wonderful job as boss. All those sharing tactical ideas (I do not remember all the names as there were several) from Malediction to Draegon to Kiwee to Battle and on down the list, I want to give kudos and props. Some good, slick organized stuff throughout.

Centaurus AFS Boxing Tournament

Register for this week's AFS Boxing Tournament on the Unofficial Tabula Rasa Forums as soon as the registration thread is created or turn up on the evening (every Friday evening from 8:30pm GMT or 9:30pm Central European Time) at the C.E.L.L.A.R. 1, Centaurus.
One of our long term plans for Tabula Rasa's group content was to create Epic versions of our best instances. These Epic Instances are intended for a full group of level 50 players, with numerous boss encounters and special, repeatable missions where players could obtain unique weapons, armor, prestige, and Mimeomech.
"Caves of Donn" is the first instance our team began retrofitting with Epic content. Since we recently made many updates to the regular version of this instance, we felt this would be a wonderful opportunity to re-introduce the instance to higher level players that may not have gone back to play it at a lower level.
This instance features the full host of Epic Bane, including Caretakers, Technicians, Soldiers, and the newly created Ravagers and Seekers that are also found on Earth. A special boss version of the Hunter also makes an appearance at the end of the instance, with powerful electric attacks that can bring down an unprepared party.
Players that want to adventure in the Epic Caves of Donn can find an entrance off of the CELLAR, right across from the entrance to Edmund Range. Just inside, you will be given two missions from Commander Harley. Completing these missions will give you a nice reward that includes Mimeomech, prestige, and your choice of a Series 3 Pistol, Shotgun, Chaingun, or Rocket Launcher. These missions are repeatable, so you can eventually earn all of these high powered items.
Unfortunately, there is not as much polish as we would like on this instance, but we feel confident that it is complete and fun enough to share with everyone in its current state. We hope you enjoy the challenges contained within and make good use of the Series 3 weapons rewarded.
Please note that this Epic version will only be available after today's patch has been applied.
This weekend will see several events happen across the Live servers so be sure to participate to one or several of them and you may end up winning yourself some very cool prizes!
